My First Internet Marketing Income Report

I wanted to say my first Affiliate marketing report, but it would not describe this report fully. I am making money online in few different ways, but all income is generated through activities in my websites.  Affiliate marketing, Google AdSense display advertising network, through my Dropshipping store and from guest posts / other advertising campaigns on my websites are some of the ways.

At the moment almost all income comes from my website called epelna.lv which is the most popular website about “how to make money online” in Latvia. Small revenue comes from my dropshipping store DiscoverLatvia.eu. But 90% of my attention now is dedicated to development of this website.

Why I decided to make income report?

In my opinion, progress is what keeps world moving around. So I want to publish monthly income statements of my affiliate earnings to see if I am making progress and if not, then to make detailed analysis of the reasons why I am not moving ahead. Also, I think, that it is a good tool to make visitors get back to your website every month to see if you have made any progress. Isn’t it interesting to know how much money someone is making? And how is he doing that? You can get a lot of inspiration and new ideas from blogger monthly income reports! I’m following some blogs with income reports too and I can’t wait to see the newest reports!

I have not made any review of my monthly income from internet marketing activities before. Now I have decided to get serious about this! I should reinvest at least 60% back in my websites to keep them growing. And income / expense reports is a great tool to follow what are you doing with money that you are making.

How much did I make in February, 2019?

If you read the title, then you probably know, that I made 733.68 EUR Profit On February. This number is profit – total income minus total expenses.

Keeping in mind that this is side income, I am happy with those just over 700 hundred euros. Currently I am working 9-5 job at real estate company as marketing project manager and I work on my websites in evenings and holidays.

And I also find time to hit the gym 3-4 times a week and go to trampoline lessons 2 times a week. But I feel that is totally worth it and it will pay off after some time.

Income statement

Here is a pie of my February 2019 income from different sources. I am pretty happy, that I have managed to make a portfolio of 6 income streams (actually there are 7 – the missing one is Forex, but I did not have any paying conversions on February). Do not put all eggs in one basket!

The biggest part of the pie is income from P2P affiliate commissions. I am actively advertising P2P investments to Latvian audience. I am working with almost all P2P and real estate companies that are in the market. There is an affiliate network called Target Circle, where you can access all of those programs in one place.

In February there was 44 leads/sales across all P2P investment platforms that I work with. That means that for every lead I got about 7.2 euros. This number probably could be higher, but the audience that I work with is kind of passive if we talk about investments.

Second largest income generating source was Gambling affiliation. 230 euros from all the gambling sites that I work with is not the best result that I have had, but it is not so bad too. In February I generated 50 leads and 36 of them became depositing customers. This is great number, I think.

Currently I am working with 4 gambling affiliate programs: OlyBet Affiliates, Lifland Affiliates (Optibet), Betsson Group Affiliates, and 11.lv affiliate program. All of these affiliate programs have been excellent so far. The payments are always on time and I get nice customer support from affiliate managers from time to time.

A year ago, before I entered Gambling niche, I was a “CPA guy”. I was looking only for affiliate programs, that works on CPA commission model. But after working with those gambling affiliate programs which offers only Revenue share commission model, I can say that it is awesome!  I now have about 300 depositing customers under my belt and this number grows every month. I could close all my websites and I still would get money every month from the customers that I have referred.

So –  the revenue share model is a nice way to make a passive income stream.

The third largest section of pie belongs to Systems and Services. Those 138 euros was made mainly through cash back offers on short-term loans. I have been using this system for many years now and it brings me some money every month. I have also made a post about it on this website – Cash back offers from short term loans.

The pie section “Others” is for guest posting and other advertising deals. In February I made two leads for my friend, a professional realtor, Deivids Cjuksa course-workshop “Passive income: How to make money with real estate”. A small, nice profit of 100 euros for about 30 minute work – posting an article on my website epelna.lv. I could do this all day!

Just over 60 euros was made through my dropshipping store DiscoverLatvia.euThis is very small profit in February, but we are still working hard to make this store to bring in more money. Recently I wrote an article about how I decided to make a local Dropshipping store.

Luckily I have found a nice girl, that is working on this store and I can pay my attention to developing my other websites. Store is getting better every month – adding new products, making articles, growing follower count on social media. I see only good times ahead for this project.

The least lucrative income stream is AdSense – just under 30 euros. With the traffic amount that my websites currently generates, I can be happy with this number! There was 7000 visitors to epelna.lv and few hundred visitors to onlinemoneyspy.com. These are the only websites that I have connected to AdSense display advertising network.

AdSense is a good tool to squeeze some money out of the mobile traffic. My websites are mainly focused on desktop users, so I am happy that I can get at least 30 euros from AdSense ad clicks from mobile traffic (about 80% of clicks come from mobile environment).

Expenses statement

online business expenses statement

The expenses for month of February are 142.22 euros.

I pay 20 euros + VAT for MailerLite email marketing service. I have 2,501 – 5,000 subscriber plan. Currently there are 3,300 emails on my list. In February 261 new subscribers opted in my list and 13,330 emails were sent.

Not a super-active month in terms of email marketing activities – sent just 4 campaigns and got 277 visitors to my websites from emails.

I am hosting my websites on Hostgator and Cloudways. All the money-sites are hosted on CloudWays and I can say that it is a great option to choose. My sites are flying!

Just under 70 euros was spent on Facebook ads. I spend between 50-100 euros on FB ads every month and I should probably spend more, because I am getting very cheap clicks. I got 1261 website clicks for 68.72 euros. That is about 5.4 cents for one visitor to my website.

Conclusion

February was a short month, but the profits from my Internet Marketing activities was good. Maybe 700 euros may not sound good for someone, but as it is not the main income source for me – it is good to me!

I should be more active on e-mail campaigns and advertise more on Facebook. I will do that for sure in March!

I hope that you enjoyed this income report and I would be grateful about comments what can I do better next time. Feel free to contact me and I am also open to guest-posting offers.
